FAQs
Do you photograph in color?
While we did offer this for a very short period of time, we no longer are due to timelines of the editing process and yet to perfecting the look.
What ages do you suggest for this type of session?
We have had Shrimps as little as 2 weeks old. Our suggestion for the best age is a baby that has a solid ability to sit on their own (don’t worry, we keep parents close by). As for age max? Our oldest Shrimp just came in at 50 years old! Ha but really there is no bad age for these sessions.
Where can I print my images?
Your images will be delivered in a gallery that offers print purchase. I highly recommend downloading these images and printing with Mpix.com, @pretty.in.polka.dots or Small Wood Homes.
What does the pricing include?
Our 2022 pricing include 1-2 children in your home, an online gallery, 10-15 minute with each child and anywhere from 20-50+ high res B&W digital files.
Do you offer sibling photos?
I never say no, but I never make any promises. My skill is specialized in single portraits. At the end of our session, I will give it a try. I repeat, I make no promises. To see examples, please see Instagram tagged images.
Can we, the parents, hop in a few at the end?
Of course, but like I said above, I hold no promises. Studio group photos are not my forte :)
Is there a travel fee?
Most likely, please refer to the pricing tab to see our travel fee map.
What is the difference between a pop up and an in home session?
In home sessions are great for kids who need a little more time to warm up. Pop ups are typically in cities other than San Diego, held in an event space with upwards of 17 children booked back to back.
Can you come to my city?
For 2022, I have preselected the cities. While I want to come to every city, I do have to be realistic as I have a baby who needs his mom and a strict schedule. To better give you an idea of how we choose cities: Direct flight from San Diego (Southwest or Delta). Great studio spaces, affordable Air BNB and a studio space to rent.
